I got this book Shadow Life from the Library and it's about Anne Frank and her family and how and where they died and stuff. Anne and Margot died in Bergen-Belsen and Edith(there mother) died in Auschwitz I believe.

Quote: Has anyone ever read Night by Elie Wiesel? We're reading it in school, and then we're writing to the author. Were having a Auschwitz survivor come to our school but the school told him to tone down the graphic content of his speech because they are afraid parents will sue because there children found it disturbing. How dumb.
That sounds like a fantastic book. I think my brother read it when he was in nith grade last year. That is so stupid that people want a Holocaust Auschwitz survivor at that to not tell the kids everything that happened to them. They might as well just not tell them about their experiences at all.

Way too many of those people didn't live past teenage years if they came into the camp when they were 8 or 9. I read in Shadow Life that people at Auschwitz weren't expected to live more than two or three weeks if they were really weak when they arrived. All of the Concentration Camps had a sign that you saw when you got off of the Cattle Cars that said "Work makes you free". That is such a lie. Being cremated in the Crematoriam in not considered being free it's called Genocide. Hello people! How stupid can they get?
